Hunt for online competitors goes global with new international databases from SEMrush
SEMrush, a data provider for competitive and keyword research, has added 15 new regional databases to its reports and tools, enabling users to discover profitable competitors’ keywords and track their activities in a total of 25 countries.
The SEMrush tool, used by well-known brands such as Philips, PayPal and Hyatt, helps professionals with their search engine optimisation (SEO¬), search engine marketing (SEM) and advertising campaigns. It also enables firms to keep a closer eye on their biggest online rivals. With to access to organic Adwords and keywords in search, backlinks building strategies and daily position changes in Google and Bing, firms can speed up their website optimisation process and avoid common SEO and SEM mistakes.
With the addition of databases for Argentina, Mexico, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Israel, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Hong Kong and Singapore, users can now track region-specific data locally and internationally. To narrow down the search to the most useful information, SEMrush has identified 400,000 of the most popular keywords for each of the new regions, with multi-language databases for regions that use different languages, like Belgium, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Israel, Hong Kong and Singapore.
“Our comprehensive search databases are at the heart of our service,” says SEMrush CEO, Oleg Shchegolev. “As our popularity has grown, we have been inundated by requests for new regional databases, which required a significant amount of technical work to fulfill. However, the fact that all our databases are updated in real-time means that business users can be confident they are seeing the most up-to-date analysis possible.”
