m-hance Bank Management reaches the final of the British Finance Awards
Innovative business software solutions provider, m-hance, has been shortlisted in the 2014 British Finance Awards in the ‘Software Product of the Year’ category for its sophisticated bank reconciliation solution, Bank Management. The winners will be announced at a ceremony which will take place on 12th March 2014 at the Royal Garden Hotel in London.
The British Finance Awards recognise and reward individuals, teams and businesses that have demonstrated success and innovation over the last 12 months. The awards ceremony will welcome an exclusive audience of senior professionals within UK business and the public sector to celebrate excellence in the finance profession.
m-hance Bank Management has been specifically developed to enable businesses to be compliant with the impending Single European Payments Area (SEPA) legislation on 1st February 2014. Businesses who continue to overlook the benefits of SEPA compliant business software may find that their out-of-date systems will be responsible for an acceptable number of errors, resulting in delayed and rejected payments along with incurring administrative charges for each failed transaction.
Mark Thompson, CEO of m-hance, comments, “Following our outstanding awards success last year we are thrilled to have reached the final for another leading industry accolade. Implementing SEPA compliant software is an investment that can pay immediate dividends for businesses through reduced errors and greater financial control.”
Thompson continues, “Not only does m-hance Bank Management provide peace of mind by reducing payment inaccuracies and speeding-up management reporting, it also comes with an integrated SEPA module ensuring full legislative compliance making migration ahead of the deadline much more seamless.”
In addition to being compliant with SEPA legislation, Bank Management provides significant efficiency benefits. Seamlessly integrating into m-hance’s core financial management system, Bank Management’s advanced rule-based matching functionality automatically reconciles transactions to an imported bank statement to eliminate duplication of effort. Businesses can insert multiple search criteria per rule combined with pre-defined tolerances within date and amount fields and enter orders remotely, further improving productivity.
Bank Management’s advanced reporting capabilities also ensures that key management information such as unexpected charges, missing transactions and unmatched items can easily be flagged to achieve greater financial control and compliance.
Thompson adds, “Bank Management is the latest addition to our m-hancements range and offers businesses a faster, more efficient way to reconcile transactions and provides significant time and cost savings by replacing inefficient manual processes.”
