Vivark appoints new non-executive director
North West based facilities management company Vivark has appointed Graeme Dodd as a non-executive director.
Dodd brings with him over 15 years’ experience gained in a diverse range of senior finance positions in facilities management, mobile maintenance and engineering.
Currently head of finance at engineering and environmental consultancy Sinclair Knight Merz, Graeme’s experience includes previous roles as finance director at United Utilities Contract Solutions and Romec Limited (part of the Royal Mail Group and Balfour Beatty Workplace) as well as Group Financial Controller at the UK arm of Waste Management Inc.
Graeme successfully transformed the finance functions within these organisations, leading on cost reduction programmes, productivity gains and business acquisitions to facilitate significant business growth.
Speaking about his new appointment, Graeme said: “I am delighted to be appointed as a non-executive director at Vivark. I am looking forward to helping drive forward the company’s growth plans that will support social investment aspirations.
“The concept of forging a commercially successful business to drive social value is an imploring one and one that I am very excited about.”
