Benidorm a firm favourite with Liverpool

One of Spain’s leading hotel groups has revealed that Liverpool is their top city in the UK for holidaymakers after London.

MedPlaya.com, which operates hotels in Benidorm and the Costa del Sol, receive thousands of enquires every month about holidays to the popular resorts.

In the last three months the hotel chain has also seen enquiries from Liverpool residents rise by almost 70%.

Also in the top five cities for enquiries were Leeds, followed by Newcastle and Sheffield.
