Long service awards and rewards
A sales advisor from Abingdon has received a prestigious long service award from Persimmon Homes, celebrating two successful decades working for the housebuilder.
Jacqueline Loveless, has been in sales team of the year three times during her 20 year career with Persimmon Group and has been given her long service award as recognition for her work under the Westbury, Persimmon Homes and Charles Church brands in the region.
Jacqueline, currently working at Charles Church Cumnor Heights in Oxford, was delighted to receive the accolade and reflected on her time in the industry: “When I first started out in sales for a local estate agent in 1990 I was more used to cleaning the show homes than selling them, after working for a friend part-time whilst my children were young.
“When I started with Westbury I was the first person to be able to job share which set the way for other women to be able to return to work with more flexibility.
“I have learnt a lot in the past 20 years working on sites in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire that offer a whole spectrum of properties to suit all different types of people and their needs, across the Persimmon group.
“Technology has changed over time but people will always be the same – I enjoy getting to know each new customer and building up a rapport so I can help them during what is often one of the biggest purchases they will ever make.
“The best bit about my job is handing over the keys to an excited homebuyer and seeing them happy and settled in their new home.”
Persimmon Homes Thames Valley sales director, Elaine Stratford, congratulated Jacqueline on her success with a certificate, gift voucher and flowers: “Jacqueline has been a key member of the team over the last 20 years and has demonstrated first class sales skills on several Persimmon and Charles Church sites – she is a real asset to the company and this award is a reflection of her hard work and commitment to the industry and to our customers.”
The long serving sales advisor also enjoyed congratulations from her colleagues who presented her with a card and chocolates. She added: “I couldn’t have managed 20 years without the support, teamwork and great friendship of my job share partners, Yvonne Cox, who I piloted the job share scheme with at Westbury, and Moira Bonne, who I have worked with at Persimmon Homes Thames Valley since 2006.”
Jacqueline hopes to spend many more years helping customers find, and move into, their dream homes. She and the team are currently on hand to welcome customers to Cumnor Heights marketing suite and show home Thursday to Sunday from 11am to 5pm and Monday 11am until 6pm.
Within easy reach of the city, the collection of four and five bedroom homes offers luxury and contemporary style in what is considered by many to be the most exclusive area of Oxford.
Jaqueline commented: “There has been a wide variety of customers buying at Cumnor Heights. The community on the development is a real vibrant mix of nationalities and professionals, from families to those downsizing later in life.”
There are just three properties remaining on the development with prices starting from £599,950 for the five-bed detached ‘Radstock’ property, from £674,950 for the four-bed ‘Burford’ house type and £824,950 for 5/6 bedroom ‘Thame’ home.
Jaqueline will be moving to the housebuilder’s Tilbury Fields development, also in Oxford off Tilbury Lane, in March. For further information on either development, please visit www.charleschurch.com or pop in to see Jacqueline and the team at Cumnor Heights on Cumnor Hill, Thursday to Sunday 11am to 5pm and Monday 11am to 6pm.
