Specialist Cars Dunfermline boosts its management team
A Dunfermline business has appointed a motoring expert to lead its sales team.
Craig Ingram from Edinburgh started his new role as sales manager at Specialist Cars Dunfermline just last month, bringing with him over six years of sales experience within the motor trade.
The 27-year-old was hand-picked for the managerial position after impressing the company’s brand manager within his first three months working at Specialist in the role of finance and insurance executive.
Craig now leads a team of three sales executives and says that he intends to focus on the ongoing development of high level customer service that customers have come to expect from a prestigious brand.
“I’m delighted to have been approached to be the new sales manager here at Specialist Cars Dunfermline, and am looking forward to playing a part in the future success of the business.
“I have always wanted to work with the Volkswagen brand. The reliability, quality and unbelievable value is second to none. This really is my ideal job.”
The former office-based share trader at Aegon decided to enter the motor trade after realising that he preferred face-to-face contact with customers.
He went on to work at a motor trader in Edinburgh where he progressed from the role of trainee sales executive to a sales manager. He joined Specialist in October 2013 as a finance and insurance executive before being promoted to lead the sales team. Paul Lanni, Brand Manager at Specialist Cars Fife, said: “Craig is a welcome addition to the team and we’re delighted he agreed to join us at Specialist Cars Dunfermline.”
“Quality is still what counts as far as the customer is concerned and I feel sure that Craig is the right man to offer an excellent customer journey for both existing and new customers.”
