Award-winning MedPlaya.com hotel group claims another top honour for excellent service
MedPlaya.com’s Hotel Esmereldas in the Costa Brava has been crowned Top Welcoming Hotel by online accommodation booking website Venere.com.
The 107-room hotel, which includes 44 suites, was chosen on the strength of overwhelmingly positive customer reviews which gave the two-star resort an overall guest rating of 7.9.
The news comes hot on the heels of five other MedPlaya.com hotels in the Spanish Costas being awarded the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence, an award reserved for hotels rated in the top 10% of reviewed accommodation.
Jan Guile, Marketing and Commercial Manager of MedPlaya.com, said Venere.com users’ experiences at Hotel Esmereldas showed affordable does not mean compromise.
“We have always been dedicated to providing five star service for our guests, whichever hotel they choose to stay in,” she said.
“It does not matter to us how much a guest has paid, what matters is that they are a guest. Every person who stays in a MedPlaya.com resort can be certain that they will be treated as our most important guest and this award is recognition of that.”
