Bruntwood unveils stunning Old Hall venue

Bruntwood has revealed an exciting new event space at the Cotton Exchange in the heart of Liverpool’s commercial district.

The Old Hall is a purpose-built, 100-capacity venue on the sixth floor of this historic building, featuring a vaulted ceiling, original wooden floors and a range of flexible seating arrangements.

Taking its name from the nearby street that was once home to the original Neoclassical façade of the Cotton Exchange, The Old Hall promises to offer a stunning backdrop for all manner of corporate and social events.

Bruntwood is celebrating its 25th year of business in Liverpool and has already undertaken a multi-million pound refurbishment of the Bixteth Street property in recent years, including the introduction of Liverpool’s fastest internet connectivity, attracting some of the city’s most innovative growing businesses in the process.

The Old Hall is set for a flying start, with a variety of events already scheduled including legal seminars with Morecrofts Solicitors, forum events with Downtown Liverpool In Business and a number of International Festival for Business fringe events in conjunction with Your Business e-Zine.

Colin Sinclair, director of property marketing at Bruntwood, said: “We have made significant investments in recent years to try to maximise the potential of the Cotton Exchange and the growing demand for unique event venues is a central pillar of our work here.

“The appetite for corporate events understandably fell away during the recession, but we are again seeing businesses dare to commit budget to organising, sponsoring and hosting events.

“Crucially, many firms now have more freedom in their thinking and are looking for something a little different to the norm to attract new partners or clients.

“The Old Hall certainly fits that bill and the early level of interest from new and existing customers gives us great confidence moving forward.”
