MWA Technology adds its support to new Facilities Management Show

One of the UK’s leading independent metering specialists is promising to help facilities management specialists save money by making informed decisions when it exhibits at one of the sector’s newest events.

MWA Technology, which stocks over 1000 different meters at its state-of-the-art warehouse and workshop, is heading to the Facilities Management Show on March 11-13th armed with technical experts to help visitors cut through the mysteries of effectively monitoring your energy usage.

Located on stand F3D at the NEC, the company will also showcase a number of new products it has recently sourced, including the latest precision technology from ABB, Itron, Kamstrup, Northern Design and Secure Meters.

David Gleadhill, Commercial Director, commented: “We have a proven track record of working with Facilities Management companies, providing bespoke solutions to their often complex needs.

“Every client wants to save money and one of the biggest costs facing firms these days is their energy, whether that is gas, electricity or water.

“It all starts with selecting the right meter, as this will give you an accurate picture of your usage and inform the decisions you need to make.”

He continued: “There’s been some major advancements in the meters you can choose and we’ve got more than 1000 in our range.

“At the Facilities Management Show, we’ll be able to talk you through the journey from ‘meter to the screen’, smart meters and provide an insight into electricity demand reduction.”

MWA Technology, which is a member of the Energy Services and Technology Association (ESTA), currently supplies its metering solutions to distributors, contractors, OEMs and energy monitoring professionals, with high profile projects completed at Oxford University, Kew Gardens and Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre.

Recent investment has doubled the size of its logistics and warehouse operation as well as introducing new services to clients including repair and refurbishment of meters, testing, technical and on-site support.

Thanks to its pioneering approach to delivering energy usage solutions, the company has been invited to join Ofgem’s Renewable Heat Incentive Advisory Group

MWA Technology meets with the working group two to four times a year and provides independent advice on improvements and clarifications to the £860m scheme.
