Liverpool accountants join the Growth Voucher Programme

Duncan Sheard Glass (DSG), the Liverpool-based firm of accountants and business advisors, has registered as one of the suppliers for the Government’s Growth Vouchers programme.

Announced by the Chancellor in the 2013 Budget and championed by the PM’s Enterprise Adviser, Lord Young, the Growth Vouchers programme will deliver subsidies to help small businesses access the advice they need in order to help them develop.

The firm, which has its head office in Castle Chambers on Castle Street, has joined the programme to provide a range of financial advice to those small businesses eligible to receive the vouchers.

Andrew Moss, corporate partner at DSG, said: “We are proud to support such a worthwhile scheme. I hope that the vouchers will encourage small businesses to come forward and use the time and £2,000 match-funding wisely.

“DSG’s team of experts will be advising businesses on their overall financial health. The Growth Vouchers will make a real difference to micro businesses in the area and all of us at DSG are looking forward to working with them.”

The Growth Vouchers were unveiled at 10 Downing Street on 27th January as part of a 15-month drive that the Government has pledged £30m of investment into and small businesses throughout England are eligible for the support.

DSG provides a range of tax, audit, and business advice, with offices in Liverpool, Southport and North Wales.
