Wealth management firm in line for top industry award

A Liverpool investment management company has been nominated for one of the industry’s top awards.

Quilter Cheviot Investment Management’s Liverpool office has been short-listed for the Citywire Wealth Manager Regional Stars Awards.

The awards are voted for by hundreds of financial advisers across the UK, who rank individual wealth management offices on four criteria: investment outcomes, client reporting, relationship management and efficiency of service.

Head of the Liverpool office, which includes 13 investment professionals and is based on St Pauls Square, Richard Thorn said: “We are delighted to have been nominated for this prestigious award.

“It is particularly rewarding because the nominations are driven by the views of our peers and partners in the financial advisory sector, with whom we work on a week in, week out basis.

“The nomination is not just a reflection of the high quality of our investment decision-making but also of the quality of our relationships with independent financial advisers.”

Quilter Cheviot focuses primarily on structuring and managing bespoke discretionary portfolios for private clients, charities, trusts, pension funds and intermediaries.

The company is one of the UK’s largest independently owned discretionary investment firms, tracing its heritage to back 1771 and now based in 13 locations across the UK, Jersey and Ireland with more than £15bn* of assets under management.

The Citywire Wealth Manager Regional Stars Awards take place in London on March 6.
