Leeds Oceana club closing
Leeds “superclub” Oceana will be closing after 9 years. The club is located in the city centre.
Commenting on the last dance, general manager Jonathan Guest said: “Oceana has been a fantastic nightclub for nearly a decade and this really is the end of an era.
“Over the years, we’ve played host to over 4.5 million customers and this will be our chance to fondly celebrate some great times.
“We’re also asking clubbers to post their nostalgic moments on our Facebook page which should create a great tribute to this iconic venue.”
Whilst the doors will be closing on Oceana, the club will reopen at the end of March as PRYZM Leeds, an entirely new clubbing experience.
PRYZM will feature three distinctly styled dance arenas and VIP area under one roof, bringing back glamour, style and opulence to the city’s nightclub scene.
The state of the art club, which will benefit from a million pound plus investment, will feature the PRYZM main arena, the more intimate Curve room, a feature Disco and will be complemented with a sumptuous VIP cocktail bar sponsored by Belvedere Vodka.
