Jackson & Canter leading the way with new Law Society Wills and Inheritance Quality Scheme accreditation

Liverpool law firm Jackson & Canter is one of the first in the UK to earn a prestigious national accreditation for its wills and probate service.

The city centre solicitor has achieved recognition from the Law Society Wills and Inheritance Quality Scheme (WIQS). Launched earlier this month, it aims to provide reassurance to those looking for legal advice and assistance in either writing a will or validating inheritance through the probate process.

By demanding law firms pass stringent tests to earn accreditation, WIQS offers an assurance to clients that they will receive trustworthy, responsible advice and support from its members. Since the scheme was launched, only 20 law firms, including Jackson & Canter, have been accredited.

Naomi Pinder, Head of Wills and Probate at Jackson & Canter, said the endorsement underlines the firm’s commitment to providing high quality service for all its clients

“We are very proud to serve the people of Liverpool and very pleased to have been accredited by WIQS,” she said. “At Jackson & Canter we have a wealth and depth of knowledge and experience which we use for the benefit of our clients.

“WIQS is a quality mark which gives our clients added confidence that we have developed robust and safe procedures in relation to wills and probate.”

Naomi, a full professional member of Solicitors for the Elderly, added that the quality mark demonstrates to those going through probate or looking to draft a will that the firm holds itself to the highest standards.

“Jackson & Canter serves a very wide range of clients, from the most needy to the wealthiest,” she said. “We care about our clients and treat each case individually. The protection of their interests is our principle concern.”
