80 new homes planned for Newport
A leading house builder in Wales will unveil a brand new housing development in Newport this Saturday (15 March), with over 80 homes available to purchase.
The prestigious Greenfield Court development by Persimmon Homes is located on Bideford Road in the Maes-glas area of Newport and opens to the public for the very first time this weekend.
Potential home-buyers are invited to the launch where they can visit the development, browse the building plans, and chat to Persimmon financial advisors about mortgages and housing schemes.
A total of 82 properties will be built on the site and demand is expected to be extremely high. The properties range from two bedroom homes, perfect for first time buyers, to three and four bedroom houses suitable for families or those looking to move up the housing ladder.
Victoria Williams, sales manager for Persimmon Homes East Wales, said: “Househunters looking to purchase a new home should look no further than our Greenfield Court development, with high quality homes all built to the trademark Persimmon standards of craftsmanship.
“We open our doors at 10.30am on Saturday, 15 March and people can visit throughout the weekend. Demand is expected to be high for this development and people are being urged to hurry as these stunning properties won’t be on the market for long.”
Persimmon Homes are renowned for quality and style, and the company has a reputation for the high standards and specifications on every home it builds. The Greenfield Court development is no exception.
Persimmon Homes is currently advising existing homeowners to take advantage of the new Government-backed Help to Buy scheme in conjunction with the company’s Home Change package to get the best savings.
The Help To Buy scheme was introduced to Wales to support home ownership and provide a welcome boost to the housing sector. It enables first time buyers and existing home owners to purchase a new-build home up to a value of £300,000 with as little as a five per cent deposit.
Home Change is available on selected Persimmon plots and sees the builder use its contacts to help sell a buyer’s current property.
Victoria continues: “If you have a home to sell then why not use the expertise and contacts at Persimmon Homes to help you sell your current home with our Home Change scheme.
“We can arrange the valuations for you, agree a price and then market the property on your behalf and there are no estate agent fees and no headaches – why not contact us today to find out more.”
