Exclusive homes come to Usk

Charles Church will unveil a brand new housing development in Usk this Saturday (15 March), with 15 exclusive properties available to purchase.

Stunning development, The Retreat, is located on Berthin Road in the pretty village of Little Mill and opens to the public this weekend.

Potential home-buyers are invited to the launch where they can visit the development, browse the building plans, and chat to Charles Church financial advisors about mortgages and housing schemes.

With only 15 homes planned to be built this is one of the smallest and most exclusive Charles Church developments in South Wales and demand is expected to be extremely high.

The site has a mixture of luxury four and five bedroom detached properties and will be traditionally built with stone and slate.

The small Victorian village of Little Mill, which derives its name from the local watermill, is located three miles north of Pontypool and three miles west of Usk and will be a perfect location for a family or couple who are looking to relocate, but still be within commutable distance to both Cardiff and Newport.

Victoria Williams, sales manager at Charles Church East Wales, said: “This prestigious development benefits from being close to the thriving city of Newport with a variety of restaurants and leisure facilities and is perfect for anybody wanting to relocate to the countryside or climb up the property ladder.

“It is very easy to see why people want to live there and we believe buyers will need to hurry if they want to buy a home at this new development. So please come along to our opening this weekend to find out more.”

Charles Church is currently advising existing homeowners to take advantage of the new Government-backed Help to Buy scheme in conjunction with the company’s Home Change package to get the best savings.

The Help To Buy scheme was introduced to Wales to support home ownership and provide a welcome boost to the housing sector. It enables first time buyers and existing home owners to purchase a new-build home up to a value of £300,000 with as little as a five per cent deposit.

Home Change is available on selected Charles Church plots and sees the builder use its contacts to help sell a buyer’s current property.

Victoria continues: “If you have a home to sell then why not use the expertise and contacts at Charles Church to help you sell your current home with our Home Change scheme.

“We can arrange the valuations for you, agree a price and then market the property on your behalf and there are no estate agent fees and no headaches – why not contact us today to find out more.”
