Peter Joynson’s latest venture scoops £50k of new business in first month

The new software provider set up by former TSG managing director and Tyneside businessman Peter Joynson has scooped three new contracts worth £50k in the first month of trading.

Joynson’s Synergi Information Technology has already picked up three new accounts with regional and national exposure.

The early wins confirm the business is well on target to achieve sales of half a million pounds in its first year, and a targeted £2 million within three years.

Joynson said: “We always hoped for a positive start but month one has been better than we expected. The combination of an experienced team, our contacts, a desire to do things differently and offer new Microsoft technologies in a coordinated way is a proving to be a winning formula.”

Peter and his team of experienced technology specialists are offering regional and national companies a full range of new specially designed business applications (apps) and Microsoft technologies, such as SharePoint and Office 365.

The business accounts include:

  • Protirus, a leading Symantec and software business, based in Newcastle, have appointed Synergi to replace existing business software platforms with Office 365, SharePoint and Dynamics CRM.
  • Carlton Manufacturing, a cement and building materials supplier, based in Rotherham but with a site in Consett, has appointed Synergi to introduce Office 365 and Dynamics CRM
  • International Innovative Technologies (IIT), one of the UK’s leading specialist milling technology businesses, operating from Gateshead, has appointed Synergi to provide Office 365.

Joynson added: “We’re really excited about the future. Companies are not just interested in our products but in our different approach to working with them; we are helping clients use technology better, establishing meaningful business relationships and embarking on a journey where we can get their business to move from good to great to extraordinary.”
