Bjorn Again to kick off the Crabbie’s Grand National Festival
Aintree Racecourse is pleased to announce Abba tribute music act, Bjorn Again, will perform on Grand Opening Day, Thursday 3rd April, at The Crabbie’s Grand National Festival.
Bjorn Again was founded in Melbourne, Australia, and rapidly achieved worldwide cult status. They have played over 4,800 shows in 71 countries during a successful 25 years.
The world renowned tribute act has performed at The London Palladium, the BBC Proms in the Park, at Wembley Stadium with Kylie Minogue in 2006, and with the Spice Girls on their Spice World Tour in 1997. In 2012, they also performed at Buckingham Palace at the request of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, which was the ultimate highlight for the band.
The Abba tribute act will be the first music act to perform at three day festival at Aintree and will belt out classic Abba hits from yesteryear such as ‘Dancing Queen’, ‘Knowing me, knowing you’, and ‘Mamma Mia’.

“The excitement is building for this year’s Crabbie’s Grand National and Bjorn Again will be a great music act to kick off the festival, so we are delighted they have agreed to perform on Grand Opening Day, Thursday 3rd April.
“Everyone knows and loves Abba songs and Bjorn Again have been a fantastic tribute band spanning 25 years and have played at world renowned locations with top class music acts such as Cher and Kylie Minogue, so we can’t wait to get this party started.
“On Grand Opening Day we have four grade one races as well as the feature race, The Crabbie’s Fox Hunters’ Steeple Chase, so as well as Bjorn Again, we have some top class racing to look forward to. I would encourage people to get their tickets soon so they don’t miss out.”

Prices start from £25.00. Children’s tickets are limited and must be purchased in conjunction with adult tickets. All under 17s must be accompanied by an adult.
