Clarand Accountants Announce Cloud Deal

Corbridge-based Clarand Accountants has been selected by Exact Online, a European specialist in delivering cloud-based accounting, to provide strategic insight into the UK marketplace.

The partnership will specifically see Clarand work to adapt Exact Online’s existing training materials and methods for the UK customer base. It will also cement Clarand as one of the key North East suppliers of the online product.

Claire Priestley, director at Clarand Accountants said: “Cloud based accounting is a massive growth area for us as it’s a much more modern, practical and affordable accounting option for businesses today. To have partnered with Exact Online, an organisation which has such an advanced product in Europe is a huge coup for us, especially as we’re just celebrating our first birthday.

“We are finding particular interest from regional creative and digital SMEs that want a local partner to help them transfer from more archaic systems to a modern, paperless one like cloud. One of the main benefits of cloud-based accounting is the fact that it allows accountants to easily access clients’ financials in real time so accurate information can be reviewed instantly and business planning can take place in real time. In addition, it offers the flexibility to choose what level of support a client receives from their accountant.
