Potential buy-out for Leeds environmental firm Straight
Leeds-based Straight plc, the environmental recycling firm has announced that it has been in talks with One Fifty One plc.
One51 is an Irish, Dublin-based investor with a portfolio of investments in environmental services, renewable energy and plastics, and according to them has an annual turnover of €345.9 million.
Straight has made a number of high profile deals recently, notably and most recently with Birmingham Council for £1.4 million.
They have been given until 5.00 p.m. on March 14 2014, to announce if they have a “firm intention” to make an offer for the company.
The company remains in offer discussions with One51 who are currently reviewing information which has been made available by the Company.
There can be no certainty that an offer will be made for the Company, nor as to the terms on which any offer may be made.
