Leading accountants Haines Watts launch new Tax Compliance website
Haines Watts Chartered Accountants have unveiled their new Tax Compliance Website. The firm, which has 60 offices and more than 35,000 clients around the UK, believes that the site www.hwtaxcompliance.co.uk will appeal to companies or individuals who may need specialist help and expertise.
A dedicated and highly experienced team, based throughout the UK, will be on hand to work with those facing a potential tax investigation. Their main aims will be to assist with all manner of tax investigations, handle disputes with HMRC and also provide resolutions.
Director of Haines Watts Chartered Accountant’s Liverpool office, Des Veney, said: “As a company, we have always worked hard to defend our clients’ position and obtain settlements with the minimum possible penalty. Our main role is to shoulder the pressure and take over the responsibility of liaising with HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC).
“We created this new website as we essentially want people to have instant access to the experts. We have a highly qualified and experienced team, including Chartered Tax Advisors, Tax Accountants and ex-HMRC Inspectors who have worked with businesses of all sizes. Their experience includes dealing with corporate tax, personal tax, offshore trusts, residence and domicile issues and voluntary disclosures.”
Haines Watts has already seen a rise in the number of clients needing this type of service, ranging from sole traders to large corporates, partnerships, trustees and individuals.
Des added: “In recent times, HMRC have totally got their act together. This means that they are more aggressive and making an increasing number of enquiries. Companies and individuals need a good defence team acting for them should they be subject to an enquiry.”
