Navitus Bay uses Tractivity for wind park consultation process

Navitus Bay Development Ltd (NBDL) has picked Tractivity online software to manage the public consultation and stakeholder management process for the proposed Navitus Bay Wind Park off the coast of Dorset and Hampshire, and to the West of the Isle of Wight.

Tractivity, the web-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software developed by RE:SYSTEMS, gives NBDL the ability to implement a tailored CRM system, manage consultation responses and handle stakeholder enquiries. Tractivity is linked directly to Navitus Bay’s public facing website to handle all registrations and consultation questionnaires.

Mike Unsworth, Project Director at Navitus Bay commented:

“Developing and implementing the consultation strategy to ensure that the pre-application consultation requirements are met under the Planning Act 2008 is vital to developing a project such as Navitus Bay. We found Tractivity an excellent tool to help us record and manage the consultation feedback and the system’s many powerful features have helped us build a robust CRM system. The service from the Tractivity support team has been second to none.”

If given the go ahead, the multi-billion pound project will bring both national and local benefits including enough renewable energy to power up to 710,000 homes each year and offsetting around 1,018,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually.
