Property consultants JLL have announced sponsorship of gold medallist Geraint Thomas
Leeds-based property consultants JLL has announced it is has entered into a three year sponsorship agreement with professional road and track cyclist and twice Olympic Gold Medalist Geraint Thomas.
Following glory on the track at both Beijing and London 2012 in the Team Pursuit, Geraint has turned his full attention to the road, where he currently rides for Team Sky.
A time trial specialist and an exciting all-rounder, ‘G’ has been part of the Tour de France winning performances for two consecutive years.
Guy Grainger, UK chief executive at JLL, said: “We are very proud to be sponsoring Geraint and are confident of a hugely successful partnership ahead.
His endurance and desire to win in cycling resonates with our own business values of teamwork, ambition and high performance. I have little doubt that his unwavering focus on success will be an inspiration to both our staff and clients.
Geraint Thomas added: “I am delighted to be in partnership with JLL for the next three years. As a person with a keen interest in property, it’s a hugely exciting opportunity for me to be involved with such industry leaders and the support from JLL will really help spur me on for the upcoming season.”

Geraint joins a distinguished group of JLL’s current sponsored athletes: London 2012 bronze medalist sculler Alan Campbell; former World Champion triathlete Helen Jenkins and Paralympic table tennis player Will Bayley, who won silver and bronze at London 2012.
