Tech start-up brings small businesses’ IT into the cloud in two clicks
MyQuickCloud, a revolutionary way to bring businesses’ IT systems into a corporate cloud, has been launched to support growing companies. Benefits include the ability for staff to remotely access desktops and share applications from any device, anywhere and at any time, without the need to invest in new IT infrastructure.
MyQuickCloud has been developed by the London-based technology team of Talal Choucair and Guillaume Baron, with nearly a decade’s experience at remote access specialist Vedivi. It enables businesses to enjoy the benefits of the cloud from their existing IT systems.
Unlike other remote desktop solutions which simply replicate the office PC, MyQuickCloud virtualises applicatons and user desktops to allow multiple users to access business applications and desktops simultaneously - like an office extranet - enabling greater collaboration and improving productivity.
The technology is supported by the highest levels of encryption, allowing only authorised access and ensuring that any remote activity is as secure as if it were undertaken on the host computer.
“MyQuickCloud combines the existing IT infrastructure with cloud technology, allowing the business to create and host its own cloud,” says chairman Didier Seillier, who has more than 17 years’ experience with start-up companies. “A simple ‘two click’ process puts users, desktops and applications into the cloud, so that team members can remotely access virtual desktops and the applications they need, such as Excel or QuickBooks, from any device.”
Businesses can choose from three packages – Standard, Pro and Enterprise – according to the number of users, applications and the level of support required. The Standard and Pro options are self-hosting, but MyQuickCloud Enterprise also offers a hosted option with additional technical support.
“MyQuickCloud is ideal for companies with offices in several locations, or with third-party providers such as accountants who need access to their servers,” confirms CEO, Talal Choucair.
“Based on proven technologies MyQuickCloud brings simple, worry-free computing to the SMB market, so that the IT infrastructure acts as an enabler rather than a barrier to meeting the growth ambitions of the business.”
