Scarborough digital marketing firm with £1.4 million turnover aim to expand further

A digital marketing agency based in Scarborough has announced ambitious growth plans as it celebrates its 10th anniversary.

Emailmovers is run by brothers Jamie and Duncan Gledhill and counts Experian, Continental Tyres, Microsoft, Cisco and Love Film amongst its 4,000 strong global client base.

The company, which has a £1.4 million turnover and employs 25 people, is planning further expansion to accommodate increased demand for its cutting edge services.

It is looking to recruit additional account managers with sales experience to help increase turnover by 15% in the next 12 months, on the back of consistent growth over the last 10 years.

The company has a global data reach in excess of 100 million opted-in email addresses. It has developed technologies that create and maintain accurate targeted email databases, deliver email marketing campaigns, lead generation and e-commerce.

It also helps and advises businesses in developing effective digital marketing strategies that increase sales.

Jamie Gledhill said: “We have developed an in-depth understanding of digital data requirements and sophisticated email marketing techniques over the past 10 years – and seen the business benefits achieved by our clients.

“Digital marketing can be extremely powerful and is taking the central role in many top business’ marketing campaigns.

Duncan added: “We are always looking ahead to anticipate change and identify new trends. Social media has come into its own over the last 10 years – Facebook is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year too.

“In the future we will see how email links more closely with social media - and we’ll be at the forefront of new digital developments.”

The entrepreneurial brothers set up Emailmovers with Duncan opening a small office in London, before establishing the company in Scarborough in 2004. The company now operates from Pindar House on Thornburgh Road.
