Putin buys stake in Royal Mail
Russian President Vladimir Putin has bought shares in Royal Mail, the Bdaily can reveal.
The wealthy President is said to be an enthusiast of classic Royal Mail vehicles and was drawn to buy-up shares following the recent privatisation of the firm.
Sources close to the Kremlin say Mr Putin is also a huge stamp collector, and spends many evenings leafing through vast leather-bound volumes which house his collection.
It is not known whether Mr Putin plans to hang on to his stake, but shares have been 72% since they were sold.
