O PR open dedicated content marketing division
Newcastle-based communications agency O PR has launched a dedicated content marketing division called ‘Owned’.
The division is designed to help the agency’s clients move into content marketing via their “owned media” - such as websites and blogs, emails, magazines, publications and social media channels.
O PR’s award-winning editorial PR and design teams will provide digital content, both written and multi-media, for distribution across clients’ channels.
Kari Owers, managing director, said: “Strong content marketing enables brands to develop personal connections with their existing and potential customers, and the brands that share great stories online, mobile or via social are seeing increases in customer engagement and loyalty.
“Interesting content is a top three reason people follow brands on social media and in talking to businesses, we know their biggest challenge right now is to produce sufficient quality content to share on their online channels – be that their websites, blogs, email marketing or social media. And that’s where Owned becomes invaluable.
“Owned brings a quality creative content service to the north east marketplace where we work with our clients to increase brand visibility and build a connection with their customers. Whether it’s blog articles, photographic imagery, infographic or illustration, animated film or web video, our tailored Owned packages can provide quality, branded content that integrates across all of our customers’ channels.
“With recent changes to Google’s algorithms meaning fresh, unique content is the biggest driver for your SEO, the demand for our expert content creation skills has gone through the roof.
“O is an award-winning creative team specialising in integrated communications, so the Owned addition to the family as digital content specialists will create a truly modern agency offer that can deliver imaginative and creative campaigns that work across paid, owned and earned media channels.”
