Allmedia Partner with Entrepreneurs Forum for Charity Monster Challenge
Allmedia’s Chief of Thinking (& Owner) Jeff Jamison is set to embark on one of his biggest physical challenges to date, and all in the name of charity. Jeff is no stranger to a challenge, he is ready and raring to go and fuelled with the knowledge his hard earned fundraising will make a huge difference to the patients of Maggie’s cancer caring centre in Newcastle.
Jeff has joined forces with Nicola Short and Jessica Williams of the Entrepreneurs Forum and Nick Hart of Hart Door Systems for the challenge which is predicted to raise funds of £5000 + for Maggies charity.
Maggie’s cancer care centre welcomes visitors who are affected by cancer, whether they themselves have been diagnosed or a close family member or friend. A diagnosis of cancer can have a devastating effect on people’s lives, the Maggies centre support and advise on topics from treatment to benefits. The centre’s focus is upon making changes that will improve the physical and mental well being of patients.
The challenge will see these four brave Northerners heading off to the the Scottish Highlands to complete a 31 mile bicycle ride followed by a 41 mile Hike. This is journey will take them from Fort William to Inverness.
Jeff Commented: “My dad has cancer and that inspired me to do something. I didn’t know anything about Maggies before visiting the centre with my fellow hikers. It’s a fantastic facility, so warm and friendly and perfectly designed for it’s purpose. I’m looking forward to this challenge and to the difference the money raised will make to those who visit the centre”
The Entrepreneurs’ Forum’s aptly named ‘Hikers Grove’ team will join other teams from all over the UK to take part in the overnight challenge which starts on May 3rd.
