Sponsors line up for Sheffield's MADE festival as Levi Roots and 'Dragon' Doug Richard set to appear

Irwin Mitchell, BHP and Sheffield College are the first of a growing list of sponsors for the MADE: Entrepreneur Festival, which is expected to draw around 4,500 entrepreneurial business people from all over the UK

MADE will return to Sheffield during week 22-26 September 2014.

Some of the speakers already confirmed for the event programme include entrepreneur, chef, musician and TV personality, Levi Roots (his brand pictured above); serial entrepreneur, founder of School for Start Ups and former “Dragon” Doug Richard; digital entrepreneur, bestselling author and founder of SMARTA Shaa Wasmund and hit media entrepreneur, Jamal Edwards.

A panel session at MADE 2014 is to be fronted by BBC Presenter Mark Easton, who will be joined by an exciting line up of both well-known names and locally based successful businesses, such as Graham Honeyman from Sheffield’s global powerhouse Forgemasters.

A highlight of the festival will be the MADE for Success Conference held at Sheffield City

Hall over Thursday 24 & Friday 25 September, with ‘Building a Brand’, ‘Managing Growth’ and ‘Leadership Management’ just a few of the key topics up for discussion.

A varied programme of fringe events will also be held throughout the festival week, with marketing, technology, innovation, skills and accessing funding just a few of the entrepreneurial themes to be addressed.

Business services provider BE Group is set to operate the week-long series of events under licence from Sheffield City Council and Marketing Sheffield, with Sheffield Hallam University, the University of Sheffield and Sheffield College all on board as key festival partners.
