I asked Gary whether Yorkshire was ready for this kind of sporting event, that previously would have been held in London, like the Olympics had, with the infrastructure and the highly evolved tourism industry, and he looked shocked I would even ask.
He mentioned that Welcome to Yorkshire had also secured a deal for an annual cycling championship to come to Yorkshire every year….more news of that to come!
