Elanders expands with new SME-friendly product

North Tyneside based Elanders Ltd has been working with companies of all sizes for decades; offering services such as offset printing, digital printing, packaging, storage, fulfilment and distribution, on a large scale.

With new product Elanders Print Cloud [www.elanderscloud.com] however, their fantastic quality is now competitive for smaller runs on a number of products such as business cards, flyers, leaflets and posters, thanks to a simple-to-use platform that anyone can use.

The new product is ideal for anyone from independent business owners, to designers or franchisees, but also has huge advantages for fellow printers or print management companies who would like to offer fast turnaround and affordable digital print work, but may not have the in-house capabilities or time. They would simply upload their customers’ artwork, select their quantity and we’d deliver the print – either directly to the customer, or to the print contact.

Our size and global positioning has made working with large brands across the world fairly simple for us, but the biggest challenge has come from getting the prices and lead times right for those needing smaller print runs, locally, nationally and beyond.

With the Elanders Print Cloud, you no longer need to worry about the economies of scale you’d usually associate with a big printer, you can simply order much smaller quantities of print to address more specific needs, and reorder as necessary with the click of a mouse.

The 48 hour production on print items is ideal for businesses. Kevin commented, ‘we have deliberately made our prices for smaller quantities low because we know how often content on print can change, so there is a real need to have that flexibility. But we also know that with this, we must also offer a fast turnaround, otherwise the benefit of flexibility is lost. To make this worthwhile, we despatch all items within 48 hours’.

The platform has been designed to be incredibly easy to use. Clients can use their existing artwork or create new artwork within the platform using the InDesign link-up. Kevin added, ‘The added features such as InDesign and DropBox integration have made it so straightforward. We’ve created something that experts and non-experts alike can get to grips with in a short space of time.
