New show homes unveiled at Thirsk development

A company has unveiled two new show homes at its’ first development, which is being built on the outskirts of a North Yorkshire market town.

The opening of the two show homes will mean that prospective buyers will, for the first time, be able to see what some of the properties will look like and how they could be furnished.

Visitors to The Oaks development will be able to see two of the 13 different house types that Mulberry is building. These range from a two-bedroom apartment valued at £154,995 through to a five-bedroom detached home being sold for £419,995.

The two show homes are a three-bedroom 2 ½ storey property known as the Farndale and a four-bedroom detached property known as the Ravensworth.

Leading national interior design company Blocc were engaged to dress the homes and have come up with a countryside theme to reflect the surrounding area.

Mulberry Homes Sale Executive Melanie Powls said: “It is exciting to have show homes at our very first development and whilst we have already sold a number of homes off-plan, it means prospective buyers can now actually see what our homes will be like and get an idea of how they could furnish the properties.

“We have had lots of interest in the development and expect this to increase with the opening of the show homes and as the first people begin to move in.”

The show homes at The Oaks will be open 10am to 5pm, Thursday through to Monday,
