Law Firm Hillyer McKeown to host IFB14 'Made in UK' event
Wirral and Cheshire law firm, Hillyer McKeown, have announced that they are to host an event in the lead up to the launch of the International Festival of Business which comes to Liverpool in June.
As part of the build-up to the launch of IFB14, the firm of solicitors will host their ‘Made in the UK’ networking lunch on Friday 23rd May, in conjunction with Anselmians RUFC ‘Real ale festival’ – which will be held in a marquee in the grounds of the Club in Eastham, Wirral.
The networking event which anticipates welcoming over 200 delegates will showcase 60+ UK brewed real ales, beers and ciders, and will also present a ‘Best of British’ Ploughman’s lunch, to a backdrop of live music from local band Calico who will be playing a ‘Best of British’ set list to entertain guests across the afternoon.
Speaking about the event, Richard Burnett, Head of Marketing at the firm, said: “IFB14 will present real opportunities for Wirral businesses. The benefit is not just for Liverpool city centre, but for the wider region as a whole. As a firm we are acutely aware of the platform that IFB presents to the Wirral business community and we want those businesses to understand how they can benefit from IFB, rather than seeing the festival as something international or remote. Our aim in hosting the ‘Made in UK’ event is to bring together the Wirral and Cheshire business community and to encourage them to get involved with the real opportunities presented by IFB in order to help drive business growth, accelerate trade aspirations and to encourage expansion.”
