Cloud solutions firm joins up to support Wakefield Business Conference

IT solutions organisation Servatech are the latest on board to support the Wakefield Business Conference, part of Wakefield Business Week.

Joining the event as a key partner, Servatech accompany several sponsors including principal partners Chadwick Lawrence and Wakefield First.

Servatech will be running a clinic at the Conference on the cloud. Steve Spence, co-founder of Servatech explained: “The IT world has changed. Every time we talk to customers nowadays, a “cloud” service forms part of the discussion.

“People are moving their servers to the cloud, and why wouldn’t they? Cloud is a game changer; it’s faster, more secure and you only pay for what you use.

“Whether companies are ‘all-in’ or selectively utilise the Cloud, business owners, IT managers and FD’s should understand what Cloud Computing is, and what different service providers can bring to the party”

Martyn Dawes, Coffee Nation/Costa Express giant and John Bird, founder of The Big Issue will take to the main stage to share their journey to business success.

Throughout the business week from 2nd to 6th June there will be more than 30 seminars hosted by experts across the district.

The business week will also incorporate “Meet the Leader” events, to get behind the scenes of the most prominent organisations in the district; Coca Cola, The National Coal Mining Museum and The Ridings shopping centre to name just a few.

The Wakefield Business Week website is also now live, packed with events, speakers, key visit information and the starring event, Wakefield Business Conference.
