Naylors appoint new Facilities Manager
Naylors Chartered Surveyors have appointed a new facilities manager, Nathan O’Prey, to assist in reviewing and managing their client’s building systems as part of a drive to provide a fully integrated property management service. Naylors property management team has grown to nine members of staff over the past three years as the department has witnessed a significant increase in new instructions. They currently manage an extensive portfolio of over ninety properties on behalf of clients.
Angus White, head of asset management at Naylors commented: ‘Nathan’s appointment means we can offer a comprehensive facilities management service to ensure our clients are paying the right price for the right services. Nathan will be reviewing service charge costs and tariffs and helping find the most cost effective way to use floorspace. Our facilities management services will run alongside our existing asset management and building consultancy services to provide a one stop shop for clients’.
Nathan graduated from Liverpool John Moores University last year with a 1st class honours degree in Construction Management, providing him with a sound technical knowledge of the built environment.
Nathan commented: ‘I am delighted to be joining Naylors on a graduate scheme to develop my career in facilities management. Having worked in construction and hospitality I can bring my understanding of the built environment combined with strong people skills to this role. I look forward to working with clients on ensuring their building’s systems are operating as efficiently as possible.’
