Sheffield-based telematics firm The Floow has expanded into Italy with a new base in Milan.
They have appointed insurance expert Elisabetta Pizzini (pictured right) to head up their Italian operations.

Today the organisation is responsible for telematics systems for the likes of AIG, Accenture, Green Flag and Direct Line among others.
Aldo Monteforte, CEO and co-founder of The Floow, said: “Elizabetta has brought a wealth of experience of the insurance industry across Europe to the team, and we are delighted to have her on-board.
“As a business we have a very clear international strategy, and are already well aligned with a number of European based insurers who are interested in adopting telematics and data analysis as part of their own development initiatives.
“Elisabetta’s appointment has further ensured that we are able to deliver against relevant objectives in the regions in which we operate.”
Elisabetta said: “I was captivated by the vision of The Floow , where expert scientific know how is used to collate and interpret in real time a multitude of variables that contribute to defining the true risk of mobility .
“I’m looking forward to working with The Floow to support their growth and deliver our mission to make vehicles safer and cheaper for all.”
