Deadline extension for Leeds’ Straight takeover
Straight plc, the Leeds-based recycling and waste management firm, remains in offer discussions with Dublin-based One51 as the deadline for a takeover agreement is extended.
The deadline has now been extended three, once to April 11, then again to April 25. The new decision to extend means that an agreement will me reached by May 2.
It was made clear that: “There can be no certainty that an offer will be made for the Company, nor as to the terms on which any offer may be made.”
Dublin-based One51, an environmental services and renewable energies firm has a group turnover of €345.9 million.
