Business Breakthrough Event boasts strong speaker line-up ahead of London conference
With just over a month to go until it opens its doors, this year’s Business Breakthrough Event announces a strong line-up of speakers from the world of collaboration and unified communications (UC), ready to enlighten and educate delegates on the application and opportunities associated with today’s video conferencing tools.
During the conference, heavyweights from the world of business will share their experiences of technology as an enabler:
Paul Feldman, CTO at Thomson Reuters will delve into the depths of how to identify opportunities in today’s technology to drive revenue and growth. Simon Parker, global head of IT at Hibu, will explore how simplifying technology can drive down the cost of IT and increase user engagement. Mike Tonkiss, head of IT at Neopost, will focus on how to embed ICT into your company’s strategic plan and improve value whilst reducing costs. Renna McDonagh, senior audio visual analyst, Foster + Partners, will show how cloud video conferencing has helped the global architecture practice facilitate the widespread usage of business quality video without the costs associated with traditional infrastructure investment.
In addition to end user presentations, key players from the video conferencing industry will enlighten and inform customers and the channel on market innovations and applications. Confirmed speakers include:
Peter Pauwels, director of corporate AV at Barco David Scutt, vice president UK, Ireland and South Africa at Vidyo Jim Kruger, executive vice president and chief marketing officer at Polycom Tim Price-Walker; enterprise business consultant at Steljes (authorised SMART technologies distributor) Stephen Patterson, West Europe regional manager at Biamp Systems Mike O’Boyle, VP of software sales, EMEA at PGi.
Global market research company, Wainhouse Research – joint event hosts with UC specialist Imago Group - will also feature heavily in the channel partner stream, with a session highlighting key trends and market analysis from its latest channel partner survey into video conferencing and UC, and one focussing on how to drive user adoption and channel partner success.
The inaugural Business Breakthrough Event aims to bring together vendors, resellers, analysts and end users to discuss and explore the impact of unified communications and collaboration tools on today’s enterprise. Concluding with a vendor roundtable, the event promises to provide a forum in which visitors can get to grips with all of the options and opportunities available, whatever their industry or knowledge base.
In addition to a strong conference and speaker line-up, the 2014 Business Breakthrough Event, will also feature hands-on exposure to the latest solutions in the areas of video conferencing and unified communications, with an exhibition hall giving attendees the opportunity to meet and speak directly with some of the world’s leading technology suppliers and industry experts.
