Jobs created as Peterlee water treatment specialists feature in Canada tie-up
Peterlee-based water and wastewater storage and treatment specialists Conder Solutions are confident they will create North East jobs following the launch of a new brand.
The firm’s parent company, EPS, has entered into a tie-up with Canada based water and wastewater specialist Premier Tech andwill now be known as Conder Aqua Solutions.
Last year, Québec-based Premier Tech reported turnover of around £300 million. The firm operates in 22 countries across the world, with 25 manufacturing sites, and over 2500 team members.
Following the partnership agreement, a series of nine new Conder brand products will be launched within the next eighteen months, as well as the redesign of other products.
New rotomoulding technology will be introduced to Conder’s Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) production facility at Peterlee, which employs 89.
Stuart Wray, managing director at Conder Aqua Solutions said: “The strategic partnership creates a market leading player, bringing together two industry leaders; Premier Tech, with its expertise in new technology and Conder with its pedigree for quality products and strong customer service, both of who share the same ambition of being the best in the industry”.
President of Premier Tech’s Environmental Technology Group, Henri Ouellet added: “We are very excited about the partnership and the real advantages this will bring to our customers across the globe.”
