Leeds lender backed by South African billionaire expands into Manchester
Leeds-based lender Reward Capital has expanded with the launch of an office in Manchester.
Backed by South African billionaire businessman Christo Wiese, Reward presently has £18 million of funds available to lend.
Dave Jones and Tom Flannery run Leeds-based short term lender Reward alongside invoice discounting facility provider Reward Commercial Finance.
Neil McGivern will head the new North West office and Reward is “confident” of success across the Pennines.
Neil said: “Reward Capital has built an excellent reputation in a short period of time and has a unique position in the market given its ability to fill the funding gap left by mainstream banks.
“I am excited to be joining such a dynamic and fast-growing business and helping to drive Reward’s proposition further in the North West marketplace.
“We plan to grow the team in Manchester and are also looking to introduce a number of innovations, including launching a new product that is very much complimentary to the existing product range.”
“Opening an office in Manchester is a natural move for Reward given the North West’s position as a key powerhouse for the UK economy, boasting a fantastic and fast-moving, business base.”
