Jobs saved at Service Point UK’s Gateshead and Middlesbrough offices
A number of North East jobs at printing and document firm Service Point UK have been saved following an acquisition by Paragon Group UK Ltd.
Service Point UK, which operates Gateshead and Middlesbrough offices, employs 400 across its UK sites.
Managing director for Service Point, Michael Barton-Harvey said: “The UK business was put up for sale earlier this year after our Spanish parent company could not restructure significant debt.
“We have worked relentlessly with all parties involved in the sales process to ensure every avenue was explored to achieve the best possible outcome to the situation.
“This acquisition marks a new chapter for our business and will allow us to continue providing excellent service to our national client base, while strengthening our proposition.”
