Sheffield telematics firm announces app partnership with Direct Line
The Floow, the specialist UK based telematics service provider has been appointed the supplier of smartphone applications and telematics data analytics to Direct Line Group for the recently launched Direct Line DrivePlus product range.
Within this arrangement The Floow acts as the central ‘data hub’, responsible for receiving, processing interpreting and storing data from the fixed, self install and smartphone applications used by Direct Line’s customers.
The Floow has also developed a range of smartphone applications to support DrivePlus with Try Before You Buy capability and a feedback mechanism for providing drivers information on driving style and behaviour.
Aldo Monteforte CEO of The Floow commented: “We are very excited to be taking our relationship with Direct Line Group to the next stage as we provide insights to help deliver safer and cheaper driving for policyholders.
“This is a very exciting time in the industry as more companies like Direct Line Group take up telematics as a core part of their business.”
