Alnwick Garden becomes Krispy Kreme stockist
This weekend, The Alnwick Garden is adding a dozen new pleasures to its contemporary landscape, as it welcomes artisan doughnut company Krispy Kreme to its grounds.
The Alnwick Garden will be the only location between Newcastle and Edinburgh to stock the popular confectionery following a deal with the US brand.
To celebrate, the Krispy Kreme team descended on Alnwick at the weekend, with a truck load of their free Original Glazed doughnuts for passers-by.
The confectioners are now inviting families to join them on Saturday May 17 for doughnut dipping and decorating.
A great fan of the American brand, The Duchess of Northumberland said: “I love Krispy Kremes as a treat and I’ve often given a box to friends as a thank you.
“It’s a very popular present & fantastic that Northumberland has at last got a Krispy Kreme outlet.”
Krispy Kreme will officially join The Alnwick Garden on Friday May 16 and families are invited to join the confectioners on Saturday May 17 for doughnut dipping and decoration.
