Heating apprentice ‘radiates’ success at National Awards
HCS Mechanical in Northallerton are celebrating the success of one of their apprentices at this year’s UK Copper Board National Apprentice of the Year Awards.
Apprentice plumbing and heating engineer David Flowers has been placed third in the national finals.
David, 21, from Hunton, Bedale, works as a fourth year apprentice at HCS Mechanical and studies at Darlington College. “It was exciting just to have made it to the finals, but I am really pleased that I came third” said David.
Richard Clarke, Managing Director of HCS Mechanical said, “To come third in a national final is a real achievement and we are rightly proud of David and everything he has achieved over the last four years.”
