Sheffield telematics provider adds insurance firm NIG to client list
The Floow, a specialist UK based telematics service provider, has confirmed that it has been appointed to provide commercial insurance experts NIG with a smartphone application and telematics platform called Fleet Manager.
Designed to collect data through a unique telematics fleet solution, The Floow has built a customised smartphone application and web portal that provides feedback on driver behaviour.
The unique portal allows fleet managers to assess portfolio risk, monitor fuel consumption and other fleet consumables and, in turn, identify areas for safety, environmental and economic improvement.
The smartphone application removes the need for a fixed device to be fitted to fleet vehicles in order to capture information.
Aldo Monteforte CEO of The Floow commented: “We are very excited about building our relationship with NIG through the development of Fleet Manager and the web portal.
Based on a smartphone application, and developed specifically for the fleet market, the product will provide telematics functionality to small and medium sized fleets which previously have not been able to take advantage of telematics data capture due to the economic impact of a fixed device.“
