Deli good business for Lunya following digital drive
Lunya has become the largest Spanish online deli in the UK after a record-breaking period for the venture, which is based in the LiverpoolOne retail centre.
Aside from the deli, Lunya also operates as a multi award-winning café bar, restaurant and event space.
The news follows an upscaling of its online shop by Ambos Digital, a Liverpool-based agency with international clients that specialises in e-commerce for the retail sector.
Peter Kinsella, founder and owner of the highly acclaimed brand that allowed him to develop his foodie passion for Barcelona into a thriving business, saw the online deli opportunity as a way of satisfying demand from customers all around the UK.
“We’ve just celebrated our 4th birthday and since opening we’ve seen a rapid increase over time, in the demand for our deli products with literally thousands of customers asking us if we could open elsewhere in the UK.
“To satisfy that immediate demand, we’ve successfully converted our online business thanks to Kris Tisdale’s team at Ambos Digital with growth of 137% since we upgraded our site that now includes more than 1100 products.”
