Growing businesses see Belasis go from strength to strength

Deals to help tenants stay and grow at Belasis Business Park have seen the site go from strength to strength, according to chartered surveyors Sanderson Weatherall.

Engineering support firm Phusion IM, formerly Pearson Harper, have moved from a 5,000 sq ft site to 12,500 sq ft of refurbished space at Belasis, choosing to remain on the Park.

Additionally, energy efficiency advisors Tadea have moved from 2,500 sq ft of offices to another refurbished unit of 3,000 sq ft, again remaining at Belasis.

ITV has also relocated within the site, while industrial technology specialist Tracerco has expanded and developed its own premises at the Park.

Tim Carter, Associate Partner at Sanderson Weatherall, who has been involved in the deals on behalf of the landlord, Highcross, said: “Belasis Business Park is increasingly becoming a site on which businesses want to stay and grow. Alongside the growth of these businesses, the Park benefits from three units with Enterprise Zone status, so its appeal is broad.

“Businesses such as Phusion IM are real success stories, as is Belasis itself. It is very well positioned between the A66, A19 and A689, very close to Stockton, Middlesbrough and Hartlepool, so there are strong and willing workforce resources to draw upon for growing businesses, as well as an excellent business network on the doorstep of tenants.

“The completion of all of these deals shows both the value the tenants put upon this location and also the desire of Highcross, the landlord, to work with businesses to help them to grow.”

Alex Hayward, Managing Director of Phusion IM said: “Over the last few years Phusion has seen progressive business growth, therefore the need to expand our business operation has been vital to our future success. Belasis Business Park has proved the perfect location for our business, staff and clients, with great road links, beautiful landscaped park and high quality office premises. We have been really impressed with the consistency of the quality, care and professionalism of the team at Highcross and when looking for larger premises for our expanding workforce, we decided to remain in Belasis, moving from one unit to two refurbished units. Phusion and its staff look forward to a prosperous future within the Belasis Business Park.”

Highcross’ Associate Director Mark Evans added: “The continued growth within Belasis Business Park amongst existing occupiers is testament to the benefits the site has to offer. With high quality office space set within an attractive parkland setting, Belasis is more than just an office park.”
