Wrexham business flies the flag for used cars

A leading Wrexham motors business is flying the flag for used cars, after being named the number one dealership for the entire UK Volkswagen group in 2013.

Wrexham Volkswagen, on the Rhosddu Industrial Estate at Rhosrobin, sold 773 approved used cars last year.

When asked the secret of the dealership’s success, Wrexham sales manager Gary Wood, said: “We buy the right cars, prepare them thoroughly and sell them at the right price!

“Budget is key; we sell cars that are right for the customer at a price they can afford. It’s all about meeting the needs of our customers and developing a relationship so that they come back to us time and time again.”

The business sells all Volkswagen models, but has a particular reputation for being one of the best dealerships in the country for Golf GTIs.

Twice daily stock updates on the website mean that customers travel from far and wide to secure their car of choice.

Gary said: “We are delighted to be the number one dealership in the whole of the Volkswagen group.

“We pride ourselves on the quality of our used cars we sell – very rarely are they more than four years old, and all have been fully serviced by an approved Volkswagen technician.

“We have very high standards and a superb sales team and that’s a winning formula that keeps our customers coming back year after year.”

Wrexham Volkswagen is part of the family owned Swansway Group and as well as new and approved used cars the business provides servicing with genuine Volkswagen parts and accessories and has a dedicated onsite paint and body centre offering a comprehensive post-accident service.
