Newley Weds’ Happily Ever After begins with a Part Exchange!

Newley weds’ happily ever after begins with a part exchange!

Having exchanged wedding vows last month, Lisa and Paul Riddle celebrated their nuptials by part exchanging their old house for a brand new Dunelm Homes property at Middles Farm Village in Stanley.

The happy couple – both 28 years old - purchased the Rochester, a four bedroom detached property, for £194,995 and having taken advantage of the developer’s part exchange scheme they were able to save time and money on securing their new home.

Lisa, a Programme Secretary at Durham University said: “We are thrilled to have moved into our new home so quickly after getting married! It’s certainly been a bit of a whirlwind since the New Year but the Part Exchange scheme meant that we saved so much time on the whole house buying and moving process.

“We didn’t have to worry about trying to secure a buyer for our house first and the stress and uncertainty of moving homes was non-existent. Dunelm Homes helped us every step of the way and made everything so much easier.”

The Rochester is a spacious family home which includes an expansive living/dining area with attached family area, French doors leading to the rear garden and four large bedrooms and a family bathroom on the first floor. The garage attached to this property also allows extra space for storage.

Lisa continued: “As soon as Paul and I looked around Middles Farm Village we noticed how fairly priced the houses were for how spacious they are. In addition, the fact that on completion of the development there will be open green areas was very appealing and something you don’t find often on new developments.

“We also liked the fact that the Options Centre allowed us to choose the flooring and tiles throughout the house, kitchen and extras such as the security light at the back of the property, external tap and upgraded shower. We can’t wait to start our married life in our new home!”

Situated in the former colliery town of Stanley, Middles Farm Village is an attractive development nestled in between Chester-le-Street and Consett. It has excellent links into Newcastle/Gateshead by car or bus and the recently refurbished Louisa Leisure Centre boasts an impressive fitness suite, 25 metre swimming pool and a nursery. There is also a large pedestrianised shopping area, perfect for getting out and about at the weekend.

Buyers can choose from a selection of two, three and four bedroom homes at Middles Farm Village. For further information contact homemaker Carol McDowell on 01207 294289 or visit the sales office between 10am and 5pm Thursday to Monday.
