Flintshire househunters give a sold thumbs up to The Oaks
A new homes development in Flintshire has received the thumbs up from local house hunters, with more than 500 people registering for more information about the 60 homes available.
The Oaks, at Bennetts Row in Oakenholt, is the latest site from leading housebuilder Persimmon Homes, offering two, three and four bedroom homes in a semi-rural village location.
Persimmon North West sales and marketing director David Hodgson said: “We expected significant interest in these homes, because our developments in Flintshire have always proved popular with local buyers and commuters looking to get a little more for their money.
“But even we were surprised by the number of pre-launch registrations we received for The Oaks. It certainly shows there is a huge demand for modern, affordable homes in this area.
“We have now opened our sales office, and there is still time for people to secure a new home at fantastic pre-showhome prices by reserving off-plan.”
The Oaks, on the outskirts of Flint, includes a range of traditional homes to suit first time buyers, growing families and downsizers, with prices from just £115,995.
David added: “The new Help To Buy Wales scheme makes it even easier to get on the housing ladder in this part of the world – all you need is a five per cent deposit and a 75 per cent mortgage with the Government lending you the remaining 20 per cent.
“That means you could get the keys to a brand new two bedroom ‘Moulton’ style mews house with parking for just £5,800 deposit! And that includes an integrated oven and hob and a choice of kitchen units.
“Anyone with an existing property to sell could also take advantage of our Home Change service, where we market the old house for you. Call our on-site sales advisor on 07990 003469 to find out more.”
