Investment Manager at 'Pinnacle of Profession'

Peter Jackson, Investment Manager at Tilly Bailey & Irvine Solicitors, has been awarded Chartered Wealth Manager status, a new designation introduced by the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI).

Ruth Martin, Managing Director of CISI, wrote to Mr Jackson, saying: “As a Chartered Wealth Manager, you are recognised as being a CISI member at the pinnacle of your profession in the retail sector.”

Peter has earned this Chartered status on completion of his Private Client Investment Advice and Management (PCIAM) Level 6 examination, and other qualifications.

He commented: “The majority of CISI recognised Wealth Managers are based in London and the South East, but it is important to let clients know that they can access the same levels of expertise and experience right here in the Tees Valley. The Chartered Wealth Manager designation lets clients and potential clients know that they are dealing with a competent and knowledgeable investment team here at Tilly Bailey & Irvine Solicitors, a team that is committed to continuing to deliver the highest level of expertise.

“It is this proven expertise from a local team that has enabled our investment business to become so well regarded in the region, and the reason why we now have over £50 million under management.”

Peter Jackson has managed and developed Tilly Bailey & Irvine’s Investment Management department since 1996. He has more than 26 years’ experience of managing discretionary money for private clients; the firm is also a member of the Wealth Management Association. The department provides discretionary management of individual portfolios for private investors, trusts, pension funds and charities, from across the country.

Tilly Bailey & Irvine Solicitors is the Tees Valley’s largest full service law firm with offices in Hartlepool, Wynyard Park, Stockton on Tees and Barnard Castle.
